Hamilton Housewares distributes mobility assistance under CSR

Hyderabad: Hamilton Housewares Pvt Ltd, a housewares manufacturer based in Sri City, under its corporate social responsibility initiative, distributed rehabilitation and mobility assistance to more than 305 individuals with disabilities in the area.
Over Rs 15 lakh worth of equipments including tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, elbow sticks, walkers, CP chairs (children with cerebral palsy sitting chairs), canes/blind sticks, special visual spectacles, among others was distributed to individuals facing physical impairments, limited mobility, hemiplegia, visual impairments, and other disabilities.
The company in a release said that the beneficiaries, identified through a collaborative survey conducted by Sri City Foundation and Vasantham Federation, are drawn from Sri City vicinity village including Thondur, SK Colony, Malla West, Chigurupalem, and Satyavedu. Jayanta Bordoloi, General Manager of Hamilton, administered the distribution ceremony held at the company’s premises on Thursday. Senior executives R Prasanna, Lawrence Arokiyaraj, Rajesh Gandhi and Doneil Vaz were present. Sri City officials C Ramesh Kumar, Y Ramesh, and Surendrakumar attended the event.
